Social Media on a Sunday afternoon... 24 January 2010 by jennifer
While enjoying some Dean’s Beans organic Moka Sumatra roast and some cafemade (feels like Mom’s homemade but cooked up at 5C Cafe) baked eggs with cilantro, mushrooms and parmesan cheese (sidenote: yum) here this afternoon I’m trying to be as pro-active as possible with our facebook and twitter pages. Speaking of… fan us, follow us, its easy! click the links on the homepage to show you how.
New Website! 23 January 2010 by jennifer
If you’re here, then you found us. Wecome! Our new website is up and shares all of the information we’ve been trying to cram into the old one. The events page lists a google calendar, which if you have gmail, you can subscribe to it and recieve all the latest updates. The archives page lists a small amount of information from our extensive 15 year history. If you’ve never heard us its because we’re the hidden gem, little engine that could, in the lower east side. Started by 5 passionate, culturally and musically active residents in the mid 90s, 5C Cultural Center and Cafe has expanded into fully functioning organic and vegetarian restaurant. Check out the menu page and see our new offerings. We are excited to share our love of good music, community activism and cultural awareness with the surrounding neighborhood. So if your a recent customer, a regular, an interested on-looker, a foodie or just wandered on this blog, stop on by and ask for Jenn.
